Assosa Secondary High School is a special governmental school located in Ethiopia, Benishangul Gumuz region, Assosa town. Even if it is a governmental school students must take an entry exam each year that shows their readiness. Established to build a science and technology-focused curriculum to create innovative, creative, and productive generations. The school covers four years: grades 9‑10 (junior) and 11‑12 (senior).
National curriculum (no AP/IB). But enriched modules + Code academy (STEM) starting soon, in collaboration with alumni. “Code academy will be a game changer for programming & technology.”

All students join at least two clubs. Weekly community service, school farm, monthly sports, plant care, weekend STEM, daily exercise. Sports: Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Chess, Table Tennis.

Refugee Student Initiative – facilitated 400+ refugee students to enroll. Partnership with Assosa University (weekend STEM/Humanities).
